La Floresta

The oldest resort on Uruguay's Costa de Oro, La Floresta dates to 1909 and sits on the Canelones Department's Atlantic coast. Its main street, Avenida Treinta y Tres, holds a concentration of restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues that punches above the village's size. The municipality also encompasses several neighbouring resorts stretching east toward the Maldonado Department border.
