Founded in 1934 by the Cabjolsky family on 500 hectares of mountain land in Córdoba's Calamuchita Valley, La Cumbrecita is a car-free Alpine-style village high in the Sierra Grandes, bordered by the Río Medio. Declared a Multiple-Use Nature Reserve under provincial law, it sits in mountain terrain with scenic viewpoints and draws a dense concentration of cafés and restaurants for a settlement its size.
