Known in French as "La petite Venise lozérienne" — the Little Venice of Lozère — this compact village in southern France's Lozère department sits alongside multiple watercourses, including the Lot and the Urugne, giving it a water-threaded character unusual for a rural mountain commune. A handful of cafés and restaurants serve the village, which holds a Natura 2000 designation in the Urugne valley and sits within reach of the wider region's UNESCO heritage.
