Krippen

A little fishing hamlet on the Elbe in Saxony's Saxon Switzerland region, Krippen holds official spa-resort status as a Kneipp health resort and sits in mountain terrain with scenic viewpoints and a photogenic riverside setting. Now a district of Bad Schandau, the village has a history of milling on the Krippenbach dating to at least 1474, and the wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
