Ipoh

Ipoh, the capital of Malaysia's Perak state, is a large city with a well-regarded food scene built around hawker stalls and restaurants serving famous local dishes, alongside a concentration of British colonial-era architecture that has been actively conserved in recent years. The city sits on the Kinta River between limestone hills dotted with cave temples, and serves as a gateway to the Cameron Highlands and Pangkor Island.
