A pocket-sized Finnish municipality in Päijät-Häme where the Kymi River runs through lake-dotted terrain, Iitti is home to the Kymi Ring motor sport centre and a historic church village that was voted the most attractive of its kind in Finland in 1990. The current administrative centre sits in the village of Kausala, while the older core around the parish church retains its traditional character.
