Dixton
TLL54 · United Kingdom
A little village on the banks of the River Wye in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, Dixton sits just north of Monmouth and holds a parish church — St Peter's — believed to date originally to the 12th century, with evidence of an earlier religious site on the same ground. The parish historically comprised two manors, Dixton Newton and Dixton Hadnock, on either side of the river.
