Tal-y-bont on Usk
TLL41 · United Kingdom
This tiny village in the Brecon Beacons of Powys, Wales, sitting alongside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and close to the River Usk, with mountain terrain on all sides. Once a centre of the wool industry, it is now a base for canal and hill walking. The poet and author Roland Mathias was born here, and the nearby village of Llansantffraed is the burial place of the poet Henry Vaughan.
