Village on the Mardi Himal trekking route in Nepal's Kaski District, Dhampus offers views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre from a site known as the Australian Base Camp. The surrounding area also supports paragliding at spots including Thak Danda and Taprang. A compact cluster of cafés and restaurants serves trekkers passing through, and several religious sites — among them Bhume Temple and Siddha Baraha Temple — are within the village.
