Christiansfeld

Founded in 1773 by the Moravian Church and named after Danish king Christian VII, Christiansfeld is a small town in Southern Jutland that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, recognised as the best-preserved example of Moravian town planning and architecture. The Moravian congregation, which established the settlement, still maintains around 450 members today, and the Brethren Church sits at the town's centre.
