This compact Aveyron hamlet sits at the confluence of two rivers and holds membership in Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, the association recognising France's most beautiful villages. Four of its structures carry historic monument protection: the church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur, an oratory, the Pont Vieux, and the Château de Brousse, the last of which was classified in 1943.
