Boryeong
South Korea
Boryeong, on South Korea's South Chungcheong coast, draws visitors to Daecheon Beach and the annual Boryeong Mud Festival, held each July, where the local beach mud is widely promoted for its cosmetic properties. Muchangpo Beach, known for a seasonal tidal land path, and numerous small islands reachable by ferry from Daecheon Port add to the coastal appeal. Sungju and Oseo mountains lie within reach inland, and the city holds several cultural sites including Sungjusaji and the Galmaemot Martyrium.
