This North Brabant town in the southern Netherlands is known across the country as a Rietveld village, for its architecture by De Stijl designer Gerrit Rietveld, and as the setting of Radio Bergeijk, a long-running parody of local radio on national airwaves. Part of the Kempen region, Bergeijk has traditionally been agricultural but has grown as a recreation destination, with a bungalow park at nearby Westerhoven among its visitor facilities.
