Thermal springs first tapped by Thracian settlers around the 4th century BC draw visitors to this Bulgarian village in Razlog Municipality, where mineral waters ranging from warm to near-scalding feed spa and recreational facilities. Banya sits close to both the town of Razlog and the ski resort of Bansko, making it a base for mountain access alongside its spa offer, with new hotels and restaurants continuing to open each season.
