Acatzingo
Acatzingo · Mexico
Sitting in highland terrain between the volcanoes Citlaltépetl and Malinche, this town in Puebla state is anchored by a main plaza that holds the former Franciscan convent of San Juan Evangelista and a parish church whose facade is covered in azulejo tilework. The parish also houses the Chapel of the Virgin of Sorrows, and the plaza's arcaded walkways are said to be the largest of their kind in the state of Puebla.
