Abja-Paluoja
Estonia
A tiny town in southern Estonia's Viljandi County, Abja-Paluoja is informally called the capital of the Mulgi region. The town sits beside the Abja reservoir, formed by a dam on the Paluoja stream where it meets Lake Kariste. Local institutions include a gymnasium, a music school, a cultural centre, and a library, and the former bank building that now serves as the post office is considered an architectural point of interest.
