Aberaeron
TLL41 · United Kingdom
A small Welsh harbour town on the Ceredigion coast, Aberaeron was built from 1805 by the Reverend Alban Thomas Jones-Gwynne in a formal street pattern said to reflect the influence of architect John Nash. Its multicoloured houses, working harbour at the mouth of the River Aeron, and a blue-flag beach draw regular visitors, and the town supports a notable number of cafés, restaurants, and independent shops for its size. The nearby National Trust estate of Llannerch Aeron adds a further point of interest.
