A village in Austria's Pitztal valley, Wenns sits along the Pitze river and is home to the oldest farmhouse in Tyrol — the Stamserhaus, around 700 years old. Close to mountains and serving as one of the valley's central settlements, it functions as a base for skiing in the wider Imst district, though the slopes themselves lie elsewhere in the valley.
