A lakeside town in the canton of Zürich, Uster sits beside the Greifensee with vineyards in the surrounding area, historic churches in the centre, and a walkable food-and-drink scene. The third-largest town in the canton, it received the Wakker Prize in 2001 and is well connected to Zürich by the S-Bahn network. Scenic viewpoints are within easy reach, and the wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
