Ubrique

Cádiz · Spain

Leather craftsmanship defines Ubrique, a white-walled Andalusian town in the Sierra de Cádiz known as the cradle of Andalusian leatherwork. Sitting between the natural parks of Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales, it forms part of the pueblos blancos route and carries a historic centre declared a cultural heritage site. The compact centre has a good spread of cafés and restaurants, and the surrounding sierra offers scenic viewpoints across the hills.
