A Moroccan oasis town in the Drâa-Tafilalet region, Tinghir sits along the Wadi Todgha where a dense palm grove stretches for miles through a corridor between the High Atlas and Little Atlas mountains. The town serves as a base for the Todra Gorge, with scenic mountain terrain close at hand. Its walkable centre has a solid café and restaurant scene, and the surrounding oasis — irrigated by a network of canals — gives the area a lush character unusual for this part of central Morocco.
