Tatvan

This town on the western shore of Lake Van in eastern Türkiye, Tatvan has a walkable centre with a good spread of cafés and restaurants. It sits at a road junction connecting routes toward Diyarbakır, Van, Elazığ, and Siirt, and serves as the western terminus of a rail line with ferry connections across the lake toward Iran. The surrounding mountains and the lake itself are within easy reach.
