Talofofo
Guam
Talo'fo'fo, a small village on Guam's southern east coast, is best known as the area where Japanese soldier Shoichi Yokoi was discovered in 1972, nearly three decades after World War II ended — a story commemorated at Talofofo Falls Resort Park, which includes a recreation of his jungle hideout. The village also offers Talofofo Caves, a boat cruise along the Talofofo River to an ancient Chamorro village, and beach access at Ipan below the coastal cliffs.
