A town in central Ukraine's Cherkasy Oblast where the Tyasmyn River, a tributary of the Dnieper, runs through the centre, with a walkable core of cafés and restaurants along the waterfront. Smila also holds the oblast's largest railway junction, the Taras Shevchenko station, making it a practical stop for travellers moving through the region.
