Founded in 1633 by Prince Yuriy Zaslavsky on the banks of the Horyn River in western Ukraine, Slavuta is a town with a walkable centre and a café and restaurant scene along the waterfront. Granted Magdeburg rights at its founding, it sits on highway H25 and has a rail connection, making it a practical base in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
