Si Racha, a Gulf of Thailand coastal city in Chonburi province, is the birthplace of Sriracha hot sauce, which takes its name from the town. Sitting between Bangkok and Pattaya on Thailand's Eastern Seaboard, it also serves as the main gateway to the island of Ko Si Chang. The waterfront centre has a walkable café and restaurant scene, and the city sits within one of Thailand's major industrial and economic zones.
