Designated Iran's National City of Pottery in 1997, Shahreza is a city in Isfahan province recognized for the skill of its ceramic artists and the distinctive local clay. Formerly known as Qomsheh, it sits south of Isfahan on the Isfahan–Shiraz road, within reach of mountains and the wider region's UNESCO World Heritage sites.
