Sauteurs, a fishing village on the northern tip of Grenada, takes its name from the cliff where the last Carib indigenous people leapt to their deaths rather than surrender — a history that gives this little coastal settlement an unusually weighted sense of place. The village overlooks Sauteurs Bay and serves as the main town of the Saint Patrick Parish.
