This small fishing village on the Oaxaca coast where the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains meet the Pacific, San Agustinillo offers an unusually well-stocked café and restaurant scene for a hamlet its size, along with scenic surrounds and a beach that splits between calm swimming at one end and surf-worthy waves at the other. It sits along the stretch of Oaxacan coastline known as the Riviera Oaxaqueña, within easy reach of Mazunte and Zipolite.
