Raseborg

Finland

Finland's largest Swedish-speaking-majority town, Raseborg sits on the southern coast of western Uusimaa with a walkable centre in Ekenäs full of cafés and restaurants. The town takes its name from a medieval castle in the area, and the surrounding coastline opens into large archipelagos. Formed in 2009 from the merger of Ekenäs, Karis, and Pojo, Raseborg is a bilingual municipality where Swedish speakers make up the majority.
