Sitting on the western shore of Kaptai Lake in Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts, Rangamati is a hill-district city where lake, forest, and mountain terrain converge within walking distance of the town centre. The area draws visitors for its natural scenery, wildlife, an indigenous museum, and a suspension bridge. It is the largest city in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the administrative headquarters of Rangamati District.
