Quimper

Quimper faience — white glazed pottery with colourful painted designs — is the signature craft of this Breton town, the prefecture of Finistère in northwestern France. The historic centre, classified as a Ville d'art et d'histoire, sits at the confluence of the Odet river and three tributaries, with a heritage-dense streetscape, multiple historic churches, and a walkable food-and-drink scene.
