Known locally as "Ciudad del Sol" (City of the Sun) for its mild climate, Quilpué is a city in Chile's Valparaíso Region and part of the Greater Valparaíso metropolitan area, with scenic surrounds and a walkable centre with cafés and historic churches. The urban area includes the district of El Belloto, and the wider municipality stretches into rural zones such as Colliguay.
