Preveza

This walkable port town on the northern tip of the Ambracian Gulf in Epirus, northwestern Greece, Preveza has a dense food-and-drink scene along its promenade and a centre with a notable concentration of historic churches. The ruins of ancient Nicopolis lie a short distance to the north, and the town is connected to the opposite shore by Greece's only undersea tunnel.
