A remote coastal village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, northeast of Polis Chrysochous, Pomos sits directly on the water with mountains close behind. The village is known as the findspot of the Idol of Pomos, an ancient artefact, and hosts several cultural events and festivities despite its out-of-the-way position. UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region.
