Oristano

This walkable Sardinian town on the Campidano plain with a food-and-drink scene concentrated in its centre, several historic churches, and vineyards in the surrounding countryside. Oristano has a long history as a medieval settlement and served for centuries as the capital of the Giudicato di Arborea, one of Sardinia's independent medieval kingdoms.
