One of the oldest cities in the Małopolska region, Nowy Sącz was founded as a royal town in 1292 and sits at the edge of the Beskid mountains in southern Poland, with a walkable centre full of cafés and restaurants. The city lies along the water and serves as the main urban hub of the Beskid Sądecki region, with UNESCO World Heritage sites accessible in the wider area.
