This small Manitoba town on the Yellowhead Highway that calls itself the lily capital of the world, a title tied to its Lily Festival, which ran from 1996 to 2014. Incorporated in 1883, Neepawa draws its name from a Cree word meaning "Land of Plenty" and has a modest central core with cafés, restaurants, and an array of historic churches for a town its size.
