Muş
Mus · Türkiye
Sitting on the edge of the Muş Plain in eastern Anatolia, this Kurdish-majority city is known for its tulips and grapes, and the surrounding region is closely associated with the Battle of Manzikert and the Seljuk-era monuments linked to Alparslan. The historic core developed around a castle on the northeastern slopes of Çavuş Mountain, with older and newer parts of the city spread across terraces at high elevation.
