Morcombelake
TLK64 · United Kingdom
This pocket-sized Dorset hamlet on the edge of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Morcombelake sits close to Golden Cap and was home to the Moores bakery that produced Dorset Knob biscuits from 1880 until manufacturing moved to nearby Bridport in 2007. The bakery buildings remain, and the hamlet also has a little stone church, St. Gabriel, built in 1840–41 with salvaged components from an earlier chapel of the same name.
