The Šargan Eight, a narrow-gauge railway reconstructed in 2003 whose route traces the shape of a figure eight when seen from above, put this tiny village on the slopes of the Zlatibor Mountains in southwestern Serbia on the tourist map. The railway is considered unique in the world, and the wider region sits near several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
