This Moroccan town in the Fès-Meknès region sits along a river with a compact centre of cafés and restaurants, and the Atlas Mountains close by. Missour is also home to what is described as the world's largest reserve for the houbara bustard, a protected bird species. It serves as the capital of Boulemane Province, making it a practical base for exploring the surrounding highland terrain.
