Maymana

The provincial capital of Faryab in northwestern Afghanistan, Maymana sits on the Maymana River with mountain views and a city centre that includes bazaars, mosques, public parks, and universities. The Afghanistan Ring Road passes through, and a domestic airport connects it to other parts of the country. Planned rail links to Herat and Mazar-i-Sharif may improve access further.
