Lesa

This small village on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore sits at the water's edge with an unusual number of cafés, restaurants, and churches for its size, and scenic viewpoints in the surrounding area. The northernmost of the Novara province's lakeside communes, it shares a municipal union with Belgirate and Meina, and lies within a wider region ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
