Kostolany pod Tribecom

This small hamlet in the Tribec mountain country of western-central Slovakia, Kostoľany pod Tribečom is home to the pre-Romanesque Church of St. George, dating to around the 9th century and considered one of the oldest surviving sacred buildings in Slovakia. Vineyards surround the settlement, and the wider Nitra Region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites.
