Kengtung

This city in eastern Myanmar's Shan State serves as the capital of the region and the former seat of a minor principality, with a small central core holding a notable concentration of churches alongside cafés and restaurants. Set among mountains, Kengtung is also known by its classical name Tungapuri and is home to more than forty ethnic groups across the wider township area.
