This tiny Estonian hamlet in Harju County sits along the Jägala river and around the Kaunissaare reservoir, from which the Jägala–Pirita canal begins. The Tallinn–Narva railway runs along its northern edge, and the road to Kose–Jägala passes through the village, placing it within easy reach of the town of Kehra to the northwest.
