Colombia
Recognized by UNESCO in 1995 as a site of cultural and historical heritage, Isnos is a small Colombian municipality in the Huila Department, set in the highlands of the central Andes on the Colombian Massif — a major river-source region of significant biological diversity. The local economy centres on sugarcane, particularly panela production. A modest central core offers cafés and restaurants, and the town sits close to water and mountain terrain.
