Inniskeen, a little village in County Monaghan near the Louth and Armagh borders, is the birthplace of poet Patrick Kavanagh and home to the award-winning Patrick Kavanagh Centre. A waymarked walking route follows the landscape associated with the poet for several kilometres around the village.
