Hofn
Iceland
A modest fishing town in southeastern Iceland, Höfn sits beside Hornafjörður fjord with close views of Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier by volume. The town serves as the main hub for the surrounding Vatnajökull Region and has a modest but real café and restaurant scene for a settlement of its size. Mountains and water are within walking distance, and the area forms one of the main approaches to Vatnajökull National Park.
